Maria Whalen has been practicing massage therapy for over 24 years. She attended Owens Institute of Wholistic Massage in Delaware in 1998 and graduated in February 1999.

She opened her own practice, Haverford Therapeutic Massage June 2000. Maria moved from Pa to KS in 2021 She has earned her State License in two states to Practice Massage Therapy and is fully insured.  She attends continuing education to maintain her license and keep informed for the benifit of her clients. Maria attended a 40 hour medical massage course in Costa Rica, May 2016 and is working on mastering the skills she was taught.

She also worked at Dr Ron Cole's Chiropractic Office in Drexel Hill, from September 2012- February 2017.

She takes time to listen to all of the client’s needs. Maria’s experience has helped  relieve tension, discomfort, and pain through the custom massage she gives to her each of her clients. Maria also takes time to explain the benefits of massage and educate clients on what they can do to help themselves between regular visits.
